Griffin Fire-Rescue on Friday afternoon responded to a fire alarm at the Spalding County Courthouse.
According to GF-R Chief John Hamilton, an equipment malfunction in an elevator triggered the fire alarm.
Hamilton confirmed there was no fire in the Courthouse and no one was on the elevator at the time of the malfunction.
