The Griffin Police Department is investigating the discovery of a body in the Home Depot parking lot.
The body was found inside a vehicle.
According to GPD Public Information Officer Laurie Littlejohn, the cause of death is unknown.
“Yes, it is a body but there is no determination of manner and cause of death,” Littlejohn said. “The coroner is on scene as well as Griffin PD investigators and Crime Scene.”
