Multiple suspects are in police custody related to the Saturday afternoon shooting death of 24-year-old Reginald Darnell Hamm.
“We are no longer actively seeking any other suspects on reference to the shooting that took place earlier this afternoon at Griffin Crossings,” said. Griffin Police Department Public Information Officer Lt. Daniel Jett.
Two people have been arrested in connection to the shooting and two additional arrests have been made for allegedly obstructing the GPD investigation.
Hamm sustained a gunshot wound to his chest. He was transported to the WellStar Spalding Regional Hospital Emergency Room where he succumbed to his injuries.
