The victim of a Saturday afternoon shooting in Griffin Crossings Apartments complex has died.
He has been identified as 24-year-old Reginald Darnell Hamm, of Griffin.
Hamm sustained a gunshot wound to the chest in the shooting that occurred at the entrance to Griffin Crossings, located at 1597 W. McIntosh Road.
Hamm was transported by ambulance to the WellStar Spalding Regional Hospital Emergency Room where he succumbed to his injuries.
Authorities say the investigation is ongoing.
