The Spalding County Sheriff’s Office has identified a suspect in the overnight shooting death of an 11-year-old little girl.
Kionta Jahaun Parks is wanted on charges including felony murder, aggravated assault, cruelty to children, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, violation of the Georgia Street Gang Act and violation of the Georgia Domestic Terrorism Statute.
Parks should be considered armed and dangerous. If you see Parks, do not approach him. Call 911.
The victim in this shooting was struck and killed by what authorities have described as a stray bullet that entered her bedroom window.
She was killed instantly.
