STAFF REPORT :::
An escaped Pike County prisoner is again in custody.
The Pike County Sheriff’s Office on Christmas afternoon announced that Adrian Oliver, who was being held in the Pike County Jail on a charge of theft by receiving stolen property, had escaped.
Authorities say Oliver was last seen running northbound from the jail.
Officials now say deputies spotted Oliver walking on a gas pipeline off Reidsboro Road.
In addition to his original charge, he will now face an additional charge of escape.
