The Griffin Police Department has identified 17-year-old Kaomarion Kendrick as a suspect in the Saturday afternoon murder of 14-year-old Emmanuel Dorsey.
Warrants for Kendrick’s arrest have been obtained, charging him with murder, aggravated assault, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, possession of a pistol by someone under the age of 18 and reckless conduct.
The murder occurred at approximately 4:42 p.m. , during the annual Griifin High Bears-Spalding High Jaguars football game.
Dorsey sustained a gunshot wound to the torso, and was found at the intersection of East Poplar and South 5th streets, approximately one block from Memorial Stadium.
Authorities say Kendrick’s whereabouts are unknown.
Kendrick should be considered armed and dangerous.
